START Canada wants START Jobs events and information to be usable by as many people as possible. We review the website and event experience with accessibility in mind and welcome specific feedback when something gets in the way.
Website access
We work to provide readable page structure, clear labels, visible focus states, keyboard-friendly navigation and forms, sufficient colour contrast, and layouts that adapt to phones, tablets, and desktop screens.
Event accommodations
If you need an accommodation to register for or take part in an event, contact us as early as you can. Tell us the event name and what would help you participate. We will review the request and explain what can be arranged.
Third-party services
Some events use external services such as Microsoft Teams, YouTube, or other meeting and media platforms. Those services have their own accessibility features and limitations. We can help clarify which service an event uses before you register.
